My Serrapeptase Adventure is made possible by a combination of my own determination, and the willingness of friends, and people around the world, to share their knowledge with me. It is my pleasure to introduce some of them to you, with their own words, about my adventure, so far…

Robert Redfern Talks About My Serrapeptase Adventure

My Serrapeptase Adventure began when a friend told me about The Miracle Enzyme, Serrapeptase and asked me to help her find more information about it on the internet. One of the greatest gifts I found that day was a series of clips from radio interviews from The Power Hour radio show, with Robert Redfern, The Serrapeptase Guy, which enabled me to learn more about Serrapeptase without having to read vast quantities of text – something which my eyesight would not have enabled me to do at the time.

Now, as regular readers will know, my eyesight is good enough to make reading a useful pleasure. I am honoured to invite you to watch the following short video, in which Robert discusses my adventure so far, and, modestly, gives a glimpse of his part in it.

Video by Robert Redfern, author of The ‘Miracle’ Enzyme is Serrapeptase – The 2nd Gift from Silkworms. The 2009 edition of the book includes The Mike Tawse Story – From Wheelchair To Wings.

Serra-Book-2009-150px In early 2006 I was to change my whole understanding as to what could be helped with Serrapeptase. Up until meeting Mike Tawse, I had always said there were limitations as to what could be helped with Serrapeptase. Mike Tawse, born with cerebral palsy, was to change all of that. In December 2005, Mike, who was then 36 years of age, was sat in his apartment, with very little quality of life and unbeknown to him, his friends were planning his funeral. Mike was on a multitude of medications from his doctors and was slowly slipping away. Luckily, he and his friends came across SerraEzyme. Within weeks (days??) he started to recover and within months his doctors took him off all of his drugs. Now, at 40 Years of age, his life continues to get better. I was so impressed, I renamed my book The ‘Miracle’ Enzyme is Serrapeptase.

Although I have been enjoying the benefits of Serrapeptase since January [2006], I still continue to be amazed by the speed and stability of my progress.

I would like to thank Robert Redfern for his inspiring work with Serrapeptase and I am sure that he will continue to bring hope to people around the world!

The Power Hour, Inspiring Change And Mike Tawse: By Joyce Riley

From its very earliest days, My Serrapeptase Adventure has been as much about the kindness and inspiration of people from around the world, as it has been about my continuing search for good health.

Joyce Riley, and all The Power Hour team have been, and continue to be, a constant source of information, encouragement and inspiration. It was Joyce’s interviews with Robert Redfern, which gave me the information I needed, and the confidence to try Serrapeptase for the first time, in January 2006, long before my eyesight was good enough to read the information for myself.

It is for this reason that I am in no doubt that without The Power Hour, my life would have been very different, and I may not have survived at all. Regular readers and listeners to the show will often have heard me taking every opportunity I get to thank Joyce and the team for their continued support.

Joyce has been happy to tell my story, and to give me an opportunity to share it, as often as possible, however, this evening I was given another rare and welcome gift. For the first time ever, Joyce has recorded her very personal view of My Serrapeptase Adventure, so far, and of the part, which she, Dave and all The Power Hour team continue to have within it.

It is my privilege to invite you to listen to the following 11 minute recording and, once again, to thank Joyce for her kindness to me.

Mike Tawse V Our Stairs: Some Things Are More Important Than Rules

Matthew received a call from Mike Tawse requesting a photo shoot in his studio for an upcoming book. Mike has cerebral palsy and so the shoot posed a few challenges, not least a flight of stairs! Sadly, Mike had received the cold shoulder from other studios he had contacted…

“…what with health and safety it’s more trouble than it’s worth…”

Having already agreed to accept the commission, and hearing about Mike’s experience with other photographers, Matthew was even more determined to assist. Mike’s a thoroughly nice chap and together we proceeded to break every rule in the health & safety manual getting him up and down stairs…..but ya know what, it was the least we could do, particularly for such an inspirational guy who has overcome so many obstacles throughout his life.

Mike Tawse's Remarkable Return To Health: By Perry A~

Regular readers will know that I continue to be grateful for the ongoing support and encouragement of Perry A~. Perry has written a short article giving her personal view of My Serrapeptase Adventure, so far. It is my pleasure to include it here, in full and in Perry’s own words.

Mike Tawse is a man who refuses to settle for limited solutions. He is 100% responsible for his return to better health. Despite his doctor’s dark prognosis for Mike’s situation and the medical profession’s equally gloomy prescription drug approach in treating him with traditional side-effect riddled drugs, Mike overcame.

You see Mike was born with cerebral palsy, which created progressively deteriorating hardships on the rest of his body. Over the years, the traditional medical solutions begin to pile up, often creating even more conflicting challenges for Mike. Eventually it looked like Mike would only have a few years before his body organs would give way to the strain. Mike is not one to settle for bad news. He searched for answers beyond traditional medicine and created his own pathway to a greatly improved quality of life. Oh, he still has and always will have cerebral palsy but the quality of life factor has greatly improved. A true non-medical miracle.

I say non-medical because Mike discovered some of the medicines prescribed for him were causing conflicting reactions. The overlapping side effects of which were pushing him closer to death’s door. After taking Serrapeptase for a couple of weeks, Mike’s doctors witnessed remarkable changes in his level of health. Together they decided to start taking Mike off the prescription medicines altogether. In about six weeks, after taking Serrapeptase, they had weaned Mike off all prescription drugs and he has regained significant use of muscles, heart and body organs as well as a great improvement and return of vision.

At this point, you must know that Mike made the final decision despite a few warnings about the dangers of changing his former medical protocol. A very courageous move by Mike. He paid attention to a source deep within that led him to follow his heart rather than these doctors. Good thing he did or his heart may have failed if he had kept on the medical/doctor path. He is long past their date for his demise and doing better than ever I might add. As of February 19, 2008, Mike has already lived 1029 days longer, WITHOUT MEDICATION, than the doctors had predicted. The real cure was Mike’s determination and willingness to go challenge the norm and take his life in his own hands. Way to go Mike!

Mike found better alternatives to prescription medications through a chain of events that led him to new sources of healthy choices. He listened to The Power Hour radio show and through Joyce Riley and Dave VonKleist was connected to the right people at the right time. However, I will say it was Mike’s research and inner knowing that led him to the right information and decisions.

Mike was not through however. He knew after years of taking up to 14 prescription medicines, it was time to rid himself of the accumulated residual toxins stored in the tissues of his body. Mike heard about the amazing benefits of a certain calcium Bentonite clay, Therapeutic Living Clay, through listening to The Power Hour. After hearing an actual interview on Living Clay…Nature’s Own Miracle Cure, conducted between Joyce and myself on The Power Hour, Mike contacted me and we discussed a program of using Calcium Bentonite Clay to eliminate the toxic build up in his body. He began to notice a difference in his energy level and other positive effects after starting a daily regime of clay. Clay is a simple, safe God-given substance that is an energy booster, pH Buffer and a pathway for eliminating toxins.

I have found in life that we are all handicapped in some way – some more noticeable than others. Mike might be somewhat constricted as compared to most people but handicapped is not a word to describe this gracious soul. He is so full of appreciation and gratitude and he has gone to great lengths to share his story and give hope to many others facing health challenges. It has been my greatest honour to know and work with Mike and to be asked to contribute to his story. Thank you, Mike, for not settling for a less than healthy body.

Mike Tawse – Against all the Odds: By David Meyer

Regular readers will know that I continue to be grateful for the ongoing support and encouragement of David Meyer. David has written a short article giving his personal view of My Serrapeptase Adventure, so far. It is my pleasure to include it here, in full and in David’s own words.

It is said that all men are born equal, but some are more equal than others. Anyone who has met Mike, or read his story can be in no doubt that he fell into the less equal category at birth.

His life has been one long struggle against pain and his own body. To say that he has borne this with fortitude and courage is an understatement. He has had another struggle however, against the prevailing opinion that nothing can be done to help him, other than endless operations and drugs to control the symptoms.

I have no doubt that the medical profession was acting in what they felt were Mike’s best interests, but the fact is that many of the operations failed and many of the drugs only made him worse, requiring more drugs to counter-balance the side effects. Small wonder then that when we first met in February 2006, Mike was in a mess, with little to look forward to. The only light on the horizon was that he had started taking Serrapeptase and noticed some improvement within a few days, albeit with a long way to go.

Even the most optimistic of us at Good Health Naturally, could not have foreseen the incredible progress that he has achieved since then. Barely a week goes by without some more good news. I was privileged to meet him in person and was struck by his obvious strength of character (not to mention his handshake!), which has given him the will power to challenge the hand life dealt him.

Success breeds success and Mike continues to seek out new ways to move forward and confound the doctors. His story must make him the ultimate role-model, not just for people with cerebral palsy or other disabling disease, but for anyone who faces adversity in life and for all of us who doubt our ability to achieve our goals.

I always enjoy speaking to Mike and about him and I know that he has inspired many people to view life in a more positive way. He is now without doubt in the ‘more equal’ category.

Thanks Mike!

The Evolution Of Mike Tawse: By Ronnie Natali

Regular readers will know that I continue to be grateful for the ongoing support and encouragement of Ronnie Natali. Ronnie has written a short article giving his personal view of My Serrapeptase Adventure, so far. It is my pleasure to include it here, in full and in Ronnie’s own words.

Last year I was contacted by one of the most inspirational people I have ever met in my 35+ years of living and over 20 years in the wellness industry. He had a sense of such incredible optimism that I was shocked to later find out he has experienced a lifetime of adversities. Initially I was unaware of the gist of the challenges he was facing until we had the opportunity to speak in-depth. From the very beginning this man was so enthusiastically determined to improve his life that he would let no one or thing discourage him by seeking out people who he felt shared his positive enthusiasm and believed in making a difference.

This incredibly inspiring man is Mike Tawse…

Mike’s story of his life was absolutely amazing to me as I truly believe he has been put here to change people’s lives with his incredible zest for a better life.

Throughout my time teaching, coaching, training and advising Mike, I have to say he has and continues to amaze me with his accomplishments that I accredit to him and his committed determination. Against all odds, Doctors, therapists, specialists, family and lack thereof, not to mention his Cerebral Palsy, Mike has and continues to disbelieve and defy multiple “impossibilities” that were placed on him.

His progression over the last year has been remarkable in the sense that he has overcome so many adversities, physical, mental and emotional that he refused to accept because he believed he could…and did.

I continue to tell Mike how incredible and inspiring he is to me every time we speak. I continue to brag about his progress and determination as I work with perfectly healthy people every day who struggle to see how fortunate they are for their health and mobility.

Mike can only be described as “AMAZING” and is an inspiration to anyone and everyone who is fortunate enough to be graced with his presence. Mike is now and always will be a “Friend” to me and a real “INSPIRATION” to believe and never give up!

To all who have the opportunity to read this, please understand Mike is no longer a client of mine, my work is done by the grace of God and Mike is now working in me to help others!

Thanks Mike for improving my life so I may improve others…
